Vishal will next be featured in Thu Pa Sarvanan’s action-drama ‘Veeeramae Vaagai Soodum,’ which he wrote and directed. The film’s filming concluded a day ago, and the post-production work is moving at a breakneck pace. According to the most recent reports, Vishal’s ‘Veeramae Vaagai Soodum’ would compete with Ajith’s ‘Valimai’ at the Pongal box office in 2022.
‘Veeramae Vaagai Soodum’ was supposed to be released on January 26th, but the crew has changed their minds and wants to release the film earlier. They intend to release the picture for Pongal, but the crew has various problems securing the release date, as the film’s censorship and distribution must be completed in a short period of time.
It’s worth noting that Vishal’s most recent film, ‘Enemy,’ had its release date shifted from Dussehra to Diwali in order to avoid clashing with Rajinikanth’s ‘Annaatthe’ at the box office. If ‘Veeeramae Vaagai Soodum’ is postponed, Vishal’s ‘Valimai’ will clash with Ajith’s ‘Valimai,’ marking the first time the two actors have clashed at the box office in 9 years (Pandiya Naadu vs ‘Arambam’ at the 2013 Diwali box office).
