Varisu Movie Review and Free Download in 720p – Tamilrockers

Varisu Synopsis:

Varisu – Vijay is in excellent form right now, dropping one-liners that make us grin, throw around self-referential jabs, and act sincerely during romantic scenes. Varisu, starring Vijay and Rashmika, is a powerful commercial concoction. A corporate tycoon’s wayward son accepts to take over the reins of the company, but can he establish himself as a respectable successor?

Critic’s Rating: 3.5/5

Varisu Review:

Director Vamshi successfully weaves an entertaining story about confused sons and dads, fighting brothers, envious rivals, anxious mothers, light-hearted romance, upbeat tunes, and heroic moments in the context of a competitive business environment. All of this is propelled by Vijay’s brilliant performance as a star, which transforms unremarkable events into enjoyable episodes.
The protagonist of the narrative is Rajendran, a business tycoon who throws his own kids against one another to determine who would succeed him (Sarath Kumar, who appears to have been instructed to always look depressed simply because his character has terminal sickness).

The third son, Vijay (Vijay), disagrees with his father’s tactics and decides to remain away, while the first and second sons, Jai (Srikanth) and Ajay (Shaam), have their eyes on the chairman’s chair and heedlessly carry out their father’s whims and fancies. And just as Rajendran discovers that he is running out of time, he sees his sons for who they truly are and chooses Vijay to be his successor, which causes the other two to start fighting and, worse, to join forces with his sworn enemy Jayaprakash (Prakash Raj). Can Vijay rejoin his now-separated family and establish himself as a deserving varisu?

The opening of Varisu is a little wobbly, with visuals that appear a little out of place and chilly. Even the mother’s emotion doesn’t appear to be strong enough, and Vijay and Jayasudha’s interactions have the sanitized air of a television advertisement. The connections that we draw between these scenes and the rumored real-life argument between the movie’s actor and his parents keep us engaged in them.
However, the setup gives us the impression that we have stepped into a Telugu adaptation of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, where the tale is set against a business backdrop rather than a criminal one.

There are also scenes in the movie that fall flat, such as the early breakup scene between Vijay and Rajendran. Even the interval isn’t really exciting.
The movie shifts gears in the second half, and Vamshi gets sixes and fours with epic scenes that are equal parts funny and heroic. He also uses humor to break up the romantic scenes and keep things from becoming overly somber.

In addition, he doesn’t hold back when he tries to tug at the audience’s heartstrings. This movie is quite conscious of itself. The film is awake enough to admit that family members may be poisonous and old-fashioned enough to grasp that sometimes we have to make the most of what we have when it comes to family. Family and relationships are what drive the story.
A pretty weak romance song (Rashmika plays the arm candy here) and weak antagonists are some of the film’s flaws.

How inadequate the characterization is revealed by the fact that not even an actor of Prakash Raj’s caliber can make the enemy a terrifying menace to the protagonist. Perhaps the filmmaker decided that the turmoil around Vijay reuniting with his two brothers was sufficient. The scenes’ overall wording is also fairly general, which weakens their emotional effect, particularly in the early half. The film’s tempo is inconsistent, and Vamshi even adds pointless songs and too many battle scenes, making it a drag.

But his starring star more than makes up for it all. With one-liners that make us grin, comedic exchanges with Yogi Babu (who is great again), self-referential jokes (a scene featuring a boardroom meeting is hilarious), and sincerity that makes us believe the tender moments, Vijay is in excellent form.
