Vikram – What’s good and what’s bad about Vikram? Find out from the words of the audience. Also This film Vikram has leaked in the famous piracy website Tamilrockers.com 2022.
Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahad Faasil, is a mass thriller. Examine what works and what doesn’t in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film. Check out the following reviews and ratings:
Kamal Haasan is back with Vikram after a three-year hiatus. Lokesh Kanagaraj of Kaithi and Master fame has cooperated with him. Other notable actors in the cast include Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad Faasil, who will play pivotal parts.
The cast includes Shivani Narayan, Arjun Das, Harish Uthaman, Kalidas Jayaram, Shanvi Srivastava, Aruldoss, and others. Anirudh Ravichander composed the soundtrack for the film. Listeners have responded well to a few songs, notably Kamal Haasan’s “Pathala Pathala.”
Philomin Raj edited the film, and Girish Ganghadharan shot the cinematography.
In Vikram, Lokesh Kanagaraj combines the espionage-filled world of Kamal Haasan’s 1986 film Vikram with his own action-packed world of drug lordala and cops in Kaithi. An action flick that is both grandiose and disappointing.
Critic’s Rating: 3.0/5
It’s a high-octane action thriller in which a special investigator is tasked with solving a case of serial killings. As the inquiry progresses, he discovers that the case is not what it appears to be, and that continuing down this route can only result in a battle amongst all parties concerned.
AK Vikram, a government agent commander, Fahadh Faasil as police officer Amar, and Vijay Sethupathi as Santhanam, an evil gangster with a golden tooth, will be played by Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil as police officer Amar, and Vijay Sethupathi as Santhanam, an evil gangster with a golden tooth.
Vikram is tasked with rescuing a high-ranking government official kidnapped by two siblings, one of which is a mobster and the other a politician.
Will he complete his objective, and if so, how will he do it? This is the central theme of the novel.
The movie has a lot of buzz about it. In addition to Tamil, the film will be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. As a result, moviegoers around the country, particularly in South India, have high expectations. Is the film going to live up to the hype? Check out what others are saying about the Kamal Haasan-starrer on the internet:
In Vikram, Lokesh Kanagaraj combines the espionage-filled world of Kamal Haasan’s 1986 film Vikram with his own Kaithi’s action-packed world of drug lordala and cops. It has some of the secrets of a spy picture and some of the thrills of an action film, but it isn’t entirely satisfying and fails to offer the adrenaline rush that a film with such ambitions should provide.
When Karnan (Kamal Haasan), the father of a slain cop Prapanchan (Kalidas Jayaram), is assassinated, the narrative takes an interesting turn. We find that a succession of such deaths had occurred, with a gang of masked individuals claiming responsibility and declaring war on the system. Jose (Chemban Vinod Jose), the police chief, brings in a black ops team led by Amar (Fahadh Faasil), who begins investigating Karnan’s life. Sandhanam (Vijay Sethupathi), a formidable drug lord with a huge family on the lookout for a shipment of raw material that may make him a kingpin, is the main suspect. Meanwhile, Amar is perplexed by Karnan’s multiple incarnations.
Was he an alcoholic parent grieving the death of his son, a womaniser, or something else entirely? Is he living or dead, more importantly?
Vikram is at its finest in the opening half, when we watch Amar and his crew trying to piece together the killings and find the perpetrators. Despite the fact that we see very little of Kamal Haasan in these scenes, we are aware of his presence, both as a character and as an actor. From Nayakan to Anbe Sivam, there are allusions to Kamal’s oeuvre, and identifying them provides some tiny pleasures, especially if you are a Kamal fan. The actor, who is in action star mode here, also has a laugh-out-loud moment before the intermission.
And Vijay Sethupathi, who played a merciless villain in Master, appears to be picking up where he left off. In fact, the sequence of events in this section is reminiscent of a similar scenario in Master.
However, after the mystery around Karnan is solved (really, it’s one that we, the viewer, can easily figure out), the story becomes more straightforward. Against an army of gangsters, a tiny group of cops should be able to hold out. It’s something similar to what we had in Kaithi, but it’s not as effective here.
To his credit, Lokesh tries to create an emotional undercurrent with a subplot involving Karnan and Prapanchan’s kid, but it doesn’t have a strong enough impact on us. Amar and Sandhanam’s arcs also become too predictable. Fahadh is mostly written off, while Vijay Sethupathi appears to be trying too hard to differentiate his character from what he accomplished in Master. Narain, who plays Bejoy, an upright officer from Kaithi, is also dealt the short end of the stick. Even Suriya’s much-hyped appearance, which serves as a set-up for the next part in what’s now known as the Lokesh Kanagaraj Universe, is a letdown.
While the action scenes are well-choreographed, we never feel rushed. There are a few spectacular pictures, such as a zoom out and zoom in when Karnan and Amar trade positions, but the stunts eventually get uninteresting. In fact, a stunt sequence starring a female character is the largest mass moment in a film full of action heroes. Vikram needed a few more of these moments to be truly unforgettable.
“‘Vikram’ is one of the best action thrillers ever filmed in Kollywood,” says Umair Sandhu. What a one-of-a-kind high-voltage action story. From beginning to conclusion, this is an engrossing and thrilling story. Outstanding performances were given by #kamalhaasan, #fahadhfaasil, and #vijaysethupathi. They all managed to steal the show from start to finish.
