Dominion, from Jurassic World architect and filmmaker Colin Trevorrow, takes set four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar. Jurassic World Dominion, from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, takes the $5 billion series into new territory with never-before-seen dinosaurs, fast-paced action, and jaw-dropping visual effects.
DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), Mamoudou Athie (Archive 81), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ), Scott Haze (Minari), and Campbell Scott are among the new cast members (The Amazing Spider-Man 2). Dr. Henry Wu is played by BD Wong, Franklin Webb is played by Justice Smith, Dr. Zia Rodriguez is played by Daniella Pineda, and Barry Sembenè is played by Omar Sy.
Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World to a record-breaking $1.7 billion worldwide movie office in 2015, is directing Jurassic World Dominion. The script was written by Emily Carmichael (Battle at Big Rock) and Colin Trevorrow, based on characters developed by Michael Crichton, and is based on a tale by Derek Connolly (Jurassic World) and Trevorrow. Jurassic World Dominion is produced by famed franchise producers Frank Marshall p.g.a. and Patrick Crowley p.g.a., with Steven Spielberg, Alexandra Derbyshire, and Colin Trevorrow serving as executive producers.
